There’s something quietly magical about how light moves through gummy candy—how it glows, bends, and dances in ways that feel almost unreal. Gummy Bear Glow was created in pursuit of that glow—the way light transforms even the simplest object into something mesmerizing. While painting, I found myself completely lost in the abstract shapes and edges that formed the bear. I found unexpected beauty hiding in what most would see as a simple treat. Though expressive and abstract in brushwork, the gummy bear remains instantly familiar.

More than just a study of light and color, this nostalgic candy painting is a celebration of joy.
